You head back to the one place you know will have answers, but as you approach, the hut is still gone.
You call out to the Witch, explaining you know the truth. You have seen it. You state into the void, into the air, across the land—that she is the Child.
The hut appears, and the Witch stands out front.
“The Child?”
Yes. She failed to ascend. She missed her parents. She lived in some kind of delusional, broken mind manifestation.
The Witch stares at you.
“You’re not wrong, but you have to kill her father before she does…”
You stare at the Witch, but you understand. You understand what has to be done.
“You’ll need something I have, but how do I know you’re not being manipulated by her…”
A test it is.
