Batch crafting: crafting items
In this section, we will discuss Batch Crafting on its own. This is where you can choose to craft for experience, provided you have not maxed out your crafting skills, craft a specific number of items, or craft a complete equippable set.
The skills used in Batch Crafting are:
- Weapon Crafting
- Armour Crafting
- Spell Crafting
- Ring Crafting
All of these skills are levelled up when you craft for experience.
To the right, or below on mobile, you can see the default Batch Crafting form that appears when you open Batch Crafting. This form crafts regular items without enchantments.
Crafting for Experience
When crafting for experience, Batch Crafting creates one of each item type by default, corresponding to your crafting skills.
To the right, or below on mobile, you will see the Craft for Experience options.
All items kept through this process will appear in your Crafted Items set. This set has a limit of 2,000 items. You cannot move items into it; you can only remove, sell, destroy, or disenchant them. Removing an item from this set will place it in your inventory, provided you have enough space.
When crafting for experience, you have several options for what you want to do with the resulting items. You can see these options to the right, or below on mobile.
Once you start a Batch Crafting session, you can continue to explore, move, teleport, traverse, set sail, settle kingdoms, fight manually, and perform other actions. You can also manage your kingdoms.
However, you cannot use Faction Loyalty Automation because you will be too busy crafting for the NPC.
Batch Crafting will run for a maximum of eight hours, or until you die, run out of gold, or max out all applicable crafting skills.
While Batch Crafting for experience is running, a collapsible panel will appear and display details about your crafting progress. You can see this panel to the right, or below on mobile.
Once crafting begins after one minute, the panel will display a breakdown of statistical data.
Gone Once You Master the Skills
Once all the skills listed above reach level 400, which is the maximum level, the Craft for Experience option will no longer appear in the drop-down menu.
At that point, there is no benefit to crafting for experience. You will still be able to batch craft a specific number of items, craft for an event, or craft an equippable set.
Crafting a Specific Amount
When you want to craft a specific number of items, you can select the exact item you want and enter the amount you wish to craft. You can see this form to the right, or below on mobile.
After selecting the item, you must decide what to do with the resulting items. The available options are shown to the right, or below on mobile.
You must then choose whether the items will be placed in your inventory, your Crafted Items set, or a selected empty set.
Once you have configured these options, click Batch Craft. A progress panel will appear to the right, or below on mobile. After one minute, Batch Crafting will begin creating the requested items.
If an item fails to craft, Batch Crafting will try again. You will only be able to craft items permitted by your current skill level.
Crafting a Set
The Craft a set option allows you to craft a complete equippable set of items. You can place the resulting items in your inventory, a selected empty set, or your Crafted Items set.
When crafting a set, the only equipment slots that are not configured automatically are the right-hand and left-hand slots, as shown to the right, or below on mobile.
You may optionally select a weapon or shield for either hand. This is optional because some classes do not use weapons or may suffer penalties for equipping them.
As with crafting a specific amount, starting this process will display a progress panel and timer. After a short delay, Batch Crafting will begin creating your items.
Craft for Event
The Craft for Event option only appears when you are on Delusional Memories or The Ice Plane during their respective events: Delusional Memories and The Winter Event.
These seasonal events include global event goals in which players can participate by completing activities such as fighting creatures, crafting items, and enchanting items.
When you select this option while on the appropriate plane, Batch Crafting will create the items and automatically hand them over to the NPC.
A progress panel similar to the panels described above will display your success rate, failure rate, and the amount of gold spent.
