To complete all a quest all you have to do is on the same plane, then click Quests tab, click the quest, click complete.

You manage to find both items he needs without issue and return to him. As he pores over his book, you ask about your revelation. The TV People. Who are they? What are they?
“That, I do not know. I know of The Poet and his kind, like The Wandering Merchant and others, because even I am one of them. Alas, we answer to the Nameless beings. One you have met. Trixi, trapped in her own world. Even she is prevented from pulling my strings. But who they answer to, if anyone, has always been a mystery.”
You hand him the items, then ask about The Child. Was he manipulated by the Nameless Ones?
“Of course. You already know this. He fights fate the way a drowning man fights to survive while chained to the ocean floor. A meaningless struggle.”
He takes the items and, with practised magic, shapes them into a candle.
“This will never truly burn, not without the recipe locked within this book. I need the key and the Quill of Fate. Even then, I may not be able to read it. Give me a moment to see what I can do with the candle.”
