You travel to the realm where the Madam resides, doing your best to avoid her gaze—trying not to alert her to your presence in this twisted land of memories. You move as quietly as a mouse, but deep down, you know she knows all. She manipulates everything and everyone in this realm of delusion.

You find the dilapidated house where the Drunk lives. As you approach, you see him standing in the doorway, holding a bottle.

"What do you want?" he asks, his voice laced with anger.

You tell him you're searching for something—an emerald coin.

"A coin? That coin? No."

No? You stare at him, confused.

He turns and walks into the house. You wait a moment before following him inside. You recall the story—how he was the son of the Wandering Merchant, how he died in a pub fight. You remember something else, too... a creation of the Child’s mind. Could that be what the Construct mentioned? Could it be connected to the letter? The one that said if the Child ascended, all of this—all of them—would vanish?

You follow the man into the house. He sits at a table in a dimly lit, grimy kitchen.

"I won’t give you the coin," he says. He reaches for his neck and pulls a chain from beneath his shirt. Hanging from it is a single green emerald coin—the one the Construct is looking for.

You explain everything—the Construct, the Flame, the Emerald Plane. That he said you might be able to reach it, but only with the coin.

"I cannot... my father..." A tear slips down his cheek. "My own mother..."

You remember Nest’s bones. How you retrieved them for him. How he gave you a heart—a key to access the dungeons of the Maiden. The Madam. The one woman who rules this realm.

"If you want this coin, I need something from you. I need her skull—Nest’s skull. You’ll find it in the depths of those dungeons I gave you access to. Go. Find it. Bring me her skull."
