“Child, over here!” The Scholar flags you down on your journeys across the barren, heated, hated, waste land that is Hell.
You approach him, and he has a smile on his face. “I have something for you—a story of sorts that will give you new insight into something you might not have thought about before.”
You look at him with a puzzled expression.
“Have you ever wondered how The Creator has so much power? It’s simple Alchemy—or soul Alchemy that is. I have something for you, but first I must request something from you. I need a Soul Gem of Galith, a mysterious gem that only drops in the prison of the soulless children.”
You know of this place. You know the place he speaks up, which still fills you with dread, fear, and misery.
You can still hear the bang every time you close your eyes and the scream of a woman.
