You sit by a dying fire in the middle of nowhere. As you gaze into the flames, you reflect on your past experiences, actions, and accomplishments.
Even though you're physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted, you know you have to keep going. You've suffered enough already from the glimpses into a different time and life. Its dismal thoughts seep into your bones, drain your spirit, and rob you of your will.
A familiar voice echoes on the night air, ringing from the shadows.
"I have a tale, child, of a legendary creature from the depths of Hell itself. One who fell from grace in genesis into the world that is now. One who precedes The Creator. An ancient creature. One that both does not exist and yet lives in the minds and hearts of men, women, and children alike."
