Before Completion Text
You enter the gates and travel down into the depths of Hell itself. The winged beasts of the land screech out in rage, the endless lines of souls, the wandering dead.
To some, you do not even exist, or they do not even acknowledge your existence.
The seas boil with fire, and some poor souls are shoved in by demonic entities larger than life who cackle at the pain and agony.
“Are you going somewhere?”
You turn and see a man clad in red armor. All but his head is covered; it glows with a purple light, and the power that radiates off it is unlike anything you have felt before.
At his side, he carries a large sword with a red jewel in the shape of an eye in the center of the blade.
You feel it watching and judging you.
“Where do you come from, and what is your purpose here?”
You tell him you need to cross the seas and the gates to the Purgatory line on the other side. You tell him you searched for the story of The Creator's origins.
“You won’t find them there, only The Smith’s house. You will find what you seek in the depths of this land, child. But you do not seek The Creator; you seek answers to who you are.”
He is only half right, you think to yourself.
“A trade then. Find me the items I desire, and I shall give you the boots to cross the flaming seas.”
